A few weeks ago we were the photographers at the Black Country Business festival launch event, held at the Lighthouse Media Centre in Wolverhampton. The event, being held for two weeks in 2018 aims to promote business in the local area. A number of prominent businesses were represented and the launch event aimed to raise awareness of the event and gain sponsors. The photography brief was to capture the speakers on stage and the general flavour of the event – to produce material to populate the event’s new website.
Hard hats, safety boots and hi-vis vests have been the order of the day for this project! From cutting the first sod, through topping off and now to fitting out – we have been the photographers at the new Science, Technology & Prototyping Centre at Wolverhampton Science Park.
The fourth building at the Science Park includes hi-tech labs, machining / assembly rooms and the associated office space. As a joint project between Wolverhampton University and the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) it is aimed at encouraging local business development and growth.
Codsall Photographic / Codsall Digital have been the photographers who have recorded the major stages of this new build. Below is a small selection of images.
The Mount Hotel in Wolverhampton has this week been awarded it’s AA 4 star rating, to go with the two Rosettes for the restaurant. This was the second time we have photographed the Mount, a lovely local venue where have photographed many weddings and parties. The rooms have been decorated to an excellent standard and the car park has been totally re-designed. A lot of money has been spent in the past few years, now making the hotel the jewel in Wolverhampton’s crown.
For some 5 years now, we have been the official photographers for the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, covering both their major annual events. Having been presented with an outline brief, we make sure to capture all the key events, giving the chamber press-ready images that are used in their own printed magazine, social media and local press.
